GOLDEN BEARS TAKE ONE POINT VICTORY 59-58 OVER PRIDE

Western New England (10-11, 6-4 TCCC) would take the lead from the Pride with less than 10 seconds remaining. A jumper from Al-Darraji inside of the paint would give the Golden Bears the lead, and eventually the game.
Al-Darraji shot better than 61 percent (11-of-18) from the floor, perfect from the free throw line (8-for-8), and 60 percent from behind the three point line (3-of-5).
The Golden Bears would force Regis into committing 22 turnovers in the game. To credit the Pride, Regis snatched 38 rebounds, with Sarah McNult (Hampstead, NH) tallying 10 of her own.
Laura Sears (Billerica, Mass.) led all Regis College scorers with 20 points, and shot well over 50 percent from the floor and free throw line (80 percent). Sears is on pace to score 1,000 points in her career this season.
Also contributing for the Pride were Jessica Page (Quincy, Mass.) with 9 points, a season low, and Kimberly Mariotti (Springfield, Mass.) with 8 points and 6 rebounds.Mariotti would attempt the Pride's final shot, an 18-foot jumper that would hit off the left side of the basket. Page would rebound the ball as time expired.
