REGIS COLLEGE SWIMMING AND DIVING TEAM TO HOLD PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS
July 20, 2010WESTON, MASS.—The Regis College swimming and diving team recently announced that it would offer private swimming lessons each Friday beginning September 10 at Regis College. The lessons cost $125 per child age 3 and above, and members of the Regis College swimming and diving program will conduct the individualized lessons.
16 STUDENT-ATHLETES NAMED TO TCCC ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM
May 28, 2010Weston, Mass.—The Commonwealth Coast Conference officially released the names of its TCCC Academic All-Conference team Friday morning. Regis College had 16 student-athletes named to the team representing six different sports. The TCCC recognizes student-athletes that are at least a sophomore, and maintain a minimum of a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 GPA scale.
RECORDS FALL AT NEW ENGLAND'S
February 19, 201010 individual records and 4 relay records were broken this past weekend at the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association Championships in White River Junction, VT. Freshman Andy Laforest broke four individual records, Stephen McGovern broke three, Ben Perry broke two, and Nick Yerzyk broke one.
