Bio

Paul Braude brings to the Regis College Men’s & Women’s tennis programs a great deal of experience and enthusiasm.  For the last two seasons, Paul has been the Assistant Tennis Coach at UMASS Boston.  Braude played four years of intercollegiate tennis including one year at Southern New Hampshire University and three years at UMASS Boston, where he was team captain in his junior and senior years. 

Coach Braude played 2^nd singles in his first two years on the UMASS Beacons and 1^st singles senior year.  His record with the Beacons put him on the school’s Top 10 list for number of wins in a season, career wins and total matches played.

In addition to his college playing and coaching experience, for the last three summers Paul has been the Head Tennis Professional at the Barnstable Yacht Club in Barnstable, MA.  Directing the junior program, he was instrumental in growing the program 80% over the period.  Braude’s tennis teaching experience also includes a three year stint as a tennis pro at the Mid-Cape Racquet and Health Club in West Yarmouth, MA.

Paul earned a BA in Economics from UMASS Boston and will be enrolled in Regis’ Graduate Program in Communication beginning this fall.   Coach Ciarleglio expects that Paul Braude will make a major contribution to the Men’s & Women’s Tennis programs both on court and in Regis’ recruiting efforts to develop successful, high level teams.
