NACE COMMITS TO MEN'S TENNIS FOR 2012
Coach Ciarleglio is pleased to announce that Austin Nace (Sarasota, Fla.) will be joining the Regis men’s tennis team in the fall of 2012. Nace is a solid, experienced player who will strengthen the middle of the roster.
WESTON, Mass. - Coach Ciarleglio is pleased to announce that Austin Nace (Sarasota, Fla.) will be joining the Regis men's tennis team in the fall of 2012. Nace is a solid, experienced player who will strengthen the middle of the roster.
Austin started taking tennis lessons and clinics at the age of seven. With the weather advantage in Florida, he played tennis year round at a variety of clubs and parks. Austin also began competing in junior tennis tournaments just a few years after beginning to play. Austin has continued tennis throughout his high school years.
He comes from a family of avid tennis players. Nace enjoys the game because it is fun and offers the opportunity for exercise and competition. In this regard, he is looking forward to playing tennis for Regis. Besides tennis, Austin will soon have another major element in common with his family, Regis College! Four of his family members are Regis graduates – starting with his grandmother; Marie White Driscoll '44, followed by his mom, Elizabeth Driscoll Nace '77, and his two aunts; Marie Driscoll Hanlon '74 and Georgia Driscoll '84.
Austin also enjoys boating and going to the beach. In the past summers, he has completed several backpacking courses in Alaska and the Rocky Mountains. His interests in music include rap, techno, and house music. With friends and family in the area, Austin is looking forward to going to school near Boston. He plans to earn his degree in business management.
