20 members of the Regis College fall teams have been named to the New England Collegiate Conference Fall All-Academic Team, announced on Wednesday night. The Pride had at least one athlete recognized in every fall sport the College sponsors.

In addition to being named the New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week on Monday, junior goalkeeper Raegan Heck (Phillipston, Mass.) has been named the ECAC Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced on Wednesday night by the ECAC.

The Regis College field hockey team upset top-seeded Elms College, 1-0 in penalty strokes in the New England Collegiate Conference championship game at Leary Field Saturday afternoon.

Fourth seeded Regis College defeated top seeded Becker College 2-1 in New England Collegiate Conference postseason field hockey action Wednesday evening at Alumni Field. The win lifts the Pride to 5-13 on the season, while the Hawks season comes to an end with a record of 5-14.

The Regis College field hockey team has earned the No. 4 seed in the upcoming New England Collegiate Conference Field Hockey Tournament, and will travel to No. 1 Becker College on Wednesday for an NECC Semifinal matchup at 4:30 p.m.

The Regis College Field Hockey team traveled to Fitchburg State University and fell to the host Falcons 5-0 during a non-conference matchup on Wednesday evening. The Pride fall to 3-13, 2-2 NECC with the loss and the Falcons advance to 7-10, 2-8 LEC with the out of conference victory.

Regis College’s Kelsey Morton (South Portland, Maine) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week, it was announced by the league offices on Monday morning. Morton helped lead the Pride (3-12, 2-2 NECC) to a 2-0 victory over Becker College last week.

In a rematch of the 2013 New England Collegiate Conference Championship game, Anna Maria College defeated Regis College, 5-0, on Wednesday night in non-conference action in Paxton, Mass. The Pride fall to 2-11 with the setback, while the AMCATS improve to 9-7.
