Weston, Mass.—Jeffrie Parrish (Framingham, Mass.), Jonathan Chen (Malden, Mass.), Jonathan Dost (Taunton, Mass.), and Matthew McDonlad (Braintree, Mass.) were recently announced as incoming student-athletes for the Regis College men’s tennis program. Head coach John Ciarleglio made the announcement via email.

WESTON, Mass.—Andy White, a highly accomplished doubles player from Bozeman, Montana, will be joining the Regis College men’s tennis team next fall announced Head Coach John Ciarleglio.

Weston, Mass.—Sophomore Josh Fidalgo (Dorchester, Mass.) marked the first individual win in men’s tennis program history Saturday. Fidalgo, also a soccer player, defeated his Anna Maria College opponent in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4. Fidalgo’s win, however, would not be enough to give Regis College the outright win.

Weston, Mass.— In its first-year as a varsity program, men’s tennis is trying to build a solid foundation for a successful program. “Success is not measured by the number of wins, but how one competes,” said John Ciarleglio, head coach of the men’s tennis program.

The Seahawks (3-6; 1-0 TCCC) swept the doubles with senior captains Andrew Martin [Glastonbury, Conn.] and Steve Masso [No. Scituate, R.I.] at No. 1 spot earning their team-best fifth victory. Sophomore Zachary Rosenfeld [Easton, Conn.] and freshman Chad Strong [San Diego, Calif.] made it 2-0 with a sweep at No. 2 doubles while sophomore Brian Castrichini [Winchester, Mass.] and freshman Aaron Isch [Tolland, Conn.] took No. 3 doubles by an 8-0 score.

Weston, Mass.—Everyone loves and remembers sports picture day. Regis fall sport athletes are set to take individual photos Sunday at 2 pm. Men and women’s soccer, field hockey, tennis, and volleyball are set to take headshots, along with new coaches and staff members.

Weston, Mass.—Regis College Athletics has been making steady upgrades since December 2008 to become more competitive, and on par with similar athletic departments. The first of many unveilings will be the athletic departments newly designed logo. Created by Phoenix Design Works, Regis College will upgrade from its two lions representation to a more regal design.
