As a Freshman (2019-20):
GNAC Rookie of the Year ... GNAC Champion (200 Freestyle, 500 Freestyle, 200 IM) ... At GNAC Championships, won 200 freestyle (1:47.86), 500 freestyle (4:51.02), and 200 individual medley (2:02.20) ... Also led off second-place 400 medley relay (3:46.85) and anchored second-place 400 freestyle relay (3:24.24) ... At NEISDA Championships, finished second in 500 freestyle (4:50.80), fourth in 200 freestyle (1:46.53), and sixth in 200 individual medley (2:05.17) for All-New England honors.
Prep:
Wood was on the swim team for four years at Xavier College Prep in Thousand Palms, Calif. ... In 2018, he was ranked first in the 500 freestyle, second in the 200 freestyle, and third in the 400 medley relay ... In 2019, he maintained the top spot in the 500 freestyle, climbed to number one in the 200 freestyle, and remained third in the 400 medley relay.
