PRIDE SET FOR FIRST HOME CONFERENCE GAME
Weston, Mass.—The Regis College men’s Basketball team is set to take on Curry College Saturday (Jan.15) at 3:00 p.m. The Pride enters the contest with an overall record of 8-6 and is 1-1 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference play. The visiting Colonels enter the game with an overall record of 4-9 and are 2-0 in TCCC play.

The visiting Colonels enter the game with an overall record of 4-9 and are 2-0 in TCCC play.
The Pride is led by senior Derrick Neal (Boston, Mass./Brighton) who currently is ranked second in TCCC play for steals per game(2.4) and ranks 50th in all of division III. Ryan Chambers (000)will look to help the Pride out from behind the arc, Chambers currently ranks 2nd in TCCC play for 3-point field goal percentage (.511). On defense the Pride will look for a solid performance from senior Phil Alibrandi (York, Maine./ York) who has a team high of 5.8 rebounds per game and ranks 17th in TCCC play. Freshman Robert Edwards (Idaho Falls, Idaho./ Phillips Exeter) will look to play solid defense and add to his 21 total block on the season.
The Colonels are led by Sedale Jones (Pittsfield, Mass./Pittsfield) who currently leads the TCCC with 19.9 points per game. Jarrell Jackson (Brockton, Mass./North Cambridge) is a secondary offensive weapon for the Colonels as he ranks second on the team in scoring and fifth in TCCC play for points per game with 16.6. On the defensive side of the court Jones and Jackson continue to lead the Colonels. Jones has a team high of 76 rebounds on the season and leads the team in blocks with 20. Jackson leads the Colonels in steals with a team high of 18 on the season.
The game will be played at the Regis College Athletic Center and will be the first home conference game for the Pride. The Game is set to start at 3:00 p.m.
