Micklon Represents Pride on Sportsmanship Team as Women’s Track & Field Earns GNAC Institutional Sportsmanship Award
WESTON, Mass. – As announced by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), the Regis College women's track & field team earned the GNAC Institutional Sportsmanship Award, recognizing the program's commitment to integrity, respect, and competitive excellence throughout the season.
Team captain Grace Micklon exemplified those values both on and off the track. In addition to her leadership in competition, Micklon is actively involved in initiatives such as the Hidden Opponent, helping raise awareness for student-athlete mental health. Her dedication to her teammates and the broader community reflects the true spirit of sportsmanship.
On the track, Zoe Kirk paced the Pride with a standout performance at the GNAC Championships, capturing the conference title in the 100-meter hurdles while also earning a runner-up finish in the high jump. Regis totaled nine All-GNAC honors, with six of those performances coming from first-year student-athletes, highlighting the program's promising future.
