Kirk, 4x100 Relay Close Out Season at New England Championships
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Zoe Kirk, Aleyo Amasa-Titus, Julia Benvegnu, and Lily Griffin, represented the Pride at the New England Division III Championships this Friday and Saturday, hosted by Springfield College, where Kirk competed in the 100-meter hurdles before joining Amasa-Titus, Benvegnu, and Griffin on Saturday as part of the 4x100 relay team.
On Friday, Kirk placed 19th overall in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.75, the fifth-fastest mark by a first-year at the New England Championships. The performance marked a personal best and capped off an impressive rookie campaign in the event. Entering the New England Championships, Kirk had won her previous three 100-meter hurdle races, highlighted by a GNAC Championship title last weekend. Her time of 15.75 now ranks second all-time in program history, by nearly a full second, and stands as the fastest mark ever recorded by a first-year athlete in the event.
On Saturday, the 4x100 relay team of Kirk, Griffin, Amasa-Titus, and Benvegnu finished 18th overall with a time of 51.74 seconds. The mark was the group's fastest of the season and ranks as the second-fastest 4x100 relay time recorded by the Crimson and Gold this year, trailing only the 51.68 performance turned in by Olivia Dench, Kirk, Griffin, and Amasa-Titus earlier this season.
Both performances closed out the 2026 outdoor track and field season on a high note.
