Women’s Track & Field Seniors Honored at Regis Spring Classic
WESTON, Mass. — Under beautiful sunny skies at the annual Regis Spring Classic, hosted by the Regis College track and field program, the Pride celebrated their senior class following the meet. Grace Micklon, Olivia Dench, Isabella Clark, and Pilar Brown were all honored in recognition of their contributions and dedication to the program.
Inside the Numbers
- Zoe Kirk led the way with a first-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles, crossing the line in 15.90 seconds. She also posted a personal-best mark of 10.31 meters in the triple jump to earn runner-up honors, while taking second in the high jump with a clearance of 1.46 meters - just 0.01 meters shy of her own program record.
- In sprint action, Lily Griffin placed fifth overall in the 100 meters with a time of 13.39 seconds, setting a personal best by .01 seconds. The 4x100 relay team of Zoe Kirk, Lily Griffin, Julia Benvegnu, and Aleyo Amasa-Titus delivered a strong performance, finishing second overall in 51.75 seconds - a mark that ranks third in program history.
- Julia Benvegnu added a solid effort in the 400 meters, finishing in 1:06.05, while Aleyo Amasa-Titus recorded a time of 27.72 seconds in the 200 meters.
- In field events, Isabella Clark placed 14th in the hammer throw with a mark of 24.74 meters. Pilar Brown narrowly missed the top 10 in the shot put, finishing just outside with a throw of 8.78 meters.
- The Pride also saw strong performances in the long jump, where Alexsía Lampkin and Sophia Anderson finished fourth and fifth, respectively, with marks of 4.75 meters and 4.71 meters - both setting new outdoor personal bests.
Up Next
The Pride return to the track next Saturday at the Sean Collier Invitational, hosted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with events set to begin at 10 a.m.
