Regis Women's Track and Field Compete at Suffolk Ice Breaker
BRIGHTON, Mass. — The Regis College women's track and field team made the short trip into Boston to compete at the Suffolk Ice Breaker at The Track at New Balance, where several student-athletes achieved personal bests.
Inside the Numbers
- Zoe Kirk set a personal best in the triple jump with a mark of 9.67 meters, the third-highest by a first-year in indoor program history. Kirk also finished the 60 meter hurdles in 9.80 seconds for 15th overall.
- Following Kirk in the triple jump was Sophia Anderson with a jump of 9.55 meters, the rookie then posted her second personal best on the day in the long jump, improving by .01 with a leap of 4.49 meters.
- Three student-atheltes recorded personal bests in the 200 meters: Olivya Bush (28.48), Christie Derival (29.40), and Emma Paley (30.78), while Lily Griffin shaved .02 seconds off her 60-meter dash time, finishing in 8.50 seconds.
- Hannah Griffin cracked the top five in the 400 meters, crossing the line in 1:06.08.
