Regis Pride Track and Field Hosts Regis Spring Classic
WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College women's track and field team welcomed 13 teams to Regis Stadium today for the annual Regis Spring Classic where they finished in eighth place with a total of 34 points. After the event the Pride honored their four seniors: Abby Kilbride (Peabody, Mass.), Annabelle Jean-Philippe (Randolph, Mass.), Emily Aho (Pelham, N.H.), Harmony Lopez, Jahdee Lamarre (Brockton, Mass.), and Jonnie Charest (Methuen, Mass.).
Inside the Numbers:
- Janet Amasa-Titus (Georgetown, Mass.) secured a second-place finish in the pole vault with a mark of 2.50m, while her sister, Aleyo Amasa-Titus (Georgetown, Mass.), placed fourth in the triple jump with a leap of 10.34m. Aho narrowly missed the top ten, finishing 11th with a 9.47m jump.
- Janet Amasa-Titus also secured a seventh place finish in the javelin with a toss of 26.75m.
- On the track, Olivia Dench (Center Moriches, N.Y.) placed eighth in the 200m dash with a time of 27.83 seconds and added a tenth-place finish in the 100m dash with a 13.62-second run.
- Aleyo and Janet Amasa-Titus teamed up with Dench and Kilbride in the 4x100m relay, where they earned a fourth-place finish with a time of 51.6 seconds.
- First-year Aubrey Heise (Mattapoisett, Mass.) cracked the top five in the 1500m, crossing the line in 5:17.74. She then joined Dench and the Amasa-Titus sisters in the sprint medley relay, where they secured second place with a time of 4:25.42.

The Pride will head to Connecticut College next Saturday, April 12th for the Silfen Invitational.
