How It Happened
The first half was controlled early by Elms, as Jackie Cronin created multiple offensive opportunities. Despite several strong saves from Mazo, Elms broke through first with goals from Chloe Sullivan and Rachel Dort to take a 2–0 lead. Dort later added a free-position goal to extend the advantage to 3–0 late in the first quarter. Regis found its rhythm in the second quarter, capitalizing on multiple player-up opportunities. Serenity Ayala got Regis on the board with a man-up goal before Paige Ritchie followed with a free-position score to cut the deficit to one. Teal Galligan added to the run late in the half, giving Regis a 5–3 advantage heading into halftime after a strong second-quarter comeback.
Regis carried that momentum into the second half, opening the third quarter with a quick goal from Molly Higgins before Ayala added another free-position finish to stretch the lead. Although Cronin briefly stopped the run with a goal for Elms, Regis responded immediately, with Mason and Bella Marini each finding the back of the net to push the lead further. Higgins added her second of the game late in the third, giving Regis a commanding 10–4 lead entering the final quarter. In the fourth, Elms showed resilience with goals from Cronin, but Regis maintained control throughout.
