Zancan Joins Elite Group in NEWBA Senior All-Star Classic

WESTON, Mass. — After a storybook season, Madi Zancan will lace up her sneakers one final time, representing the Crimson and Gold in the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Senior All-Star Classic. She becomes the first Pride student-athlete selected to the prestigious showcase since Brittany Stone in 2018, joining program greats Emilee Marro and Janaya Bradley, who represented Regis in 2015.

The game will feature some of New England's top talent, including fellow Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) standouts Laura Johnson from Lasell Univeristy and Saint Joseph's College of Maine teammates Elisabeth Staplefield and Logan Brown.

The Senior All-Star Classic is set for Saturday, March 28 at 4 p.m. inside Ainsworth Gymnasium on the campus of Smith College. Spectators are welcome, and the game will also be streamed live on the NEWMAC Sports Network.
