HAYES COLLECTS NECC WEEKLY AWARD

Regis College sophomore guard Shannon Hayes (Billerica, Mass.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week in Women’s Basketball it was announced on Monday afternoon.

WESTON, Mass. – Regis College sophomore guard Shannon Hayes (Billerica, Mass.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week in Women's Basketball it was announced on Monday afternoon.

Hayes recorded the best game of her young collegiate career en route to her first ever NECC weekly honor. She tallied career-highs in points (17) and rebounds (10) which was her first ever double-double and the sophomore guard made a personal best four thefts during the Regis 69-56 win over non-conference opponent Western Connecticut State University.

The Pride return to action on tomorrow when Regis welcomes Mitchell to campus for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off with the Mariners.
