Prior to Regis

Baker comes to Regis after a decorated academic and athletic career at Eastern Connecticut State University, where she competed as a member of the Warriors’ softball program from 2021–2025. During her time at Eastern, Baker helped lead the program to a World Series appearance and an eighth-place national finish in 2022, as well as Little East Conference championships in 2022 and 2024. A team captain in 2025, she brought leadership both on and off the field. She concluded her career ranked fifth all-time in stolen bases with 59, including a standout 2022 season in which she swiped 27 bags, the fifth-most in a single season in program history.

In addition to her athletic background, Baker has extensive experience working with youth in both recreational and instructional settings. She has served as a Supervisor with the Hudson Recreation Summer Program since 2021, where she plans age-appropriate activities, fosters a positive environment, and ensures camper safety. She has also coached Hudson Youth Softball teams at the 12U and 16U levels since 2017, developing players through instruction, feedback, and structured practice planning.

Baker also completed a student teaching placement at Chaplin Elementary School in Chaplin, Connecticut, where she assumed daily classroom responsibilities and designed lessons across all subject areas for fifth- and sixth-grade students.
