Ward played six years of varsity softball, four years of varsity basketball, and two years of varsity volleyball at Bartlett High School in Webster, Mass. She was named Female Athlete of the Year for the entire high school in 2018. She was also a two-time softball team MVP and SWCL All-Star, as well as a two-time volleyball SWCL All-Star and team MVP in 2017. 

Club:
Ward played for the Charlton Wildfire from 2014 to 2017 before joining Central Mass Legends in 2018. 

Personal:
Born in Quincy, Mass., Ward's parents are Michael and Natalia Ward. She has two older brothers named Matthew and Nicholas and two younger sisters named Breanna and Brittany. She received her bachelor's degree in sport management with minors in athletic coaching and business management.
