LaPorte Paces Pride at Norwich Cadet Classic

NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Pride joined five other Great Northeast Athletic Conference programs this afternoon at the Norwich Cadet Classic.

Brian LaPorte (Bridgewater, Mass.) led the Pride with a time of 35:14.4, placing 49th overall. Close behind, Nathan Thomas (Medford, Mass.) crossed the line in 37:04.4 to secure 54th place.

Making their collegiate debuts, Pierre 'Luc' Willems (Belchertown, Mass.) and Yeury Monegro (Lawrence, Mass.) turned in performances of 41:42.6 and 43:30.3, respectively.

They return to competition in two weeks on Saturday, October 18, at the Coach Dann Runnin' Monks Cross Country Challenge, hosted by Saint Joseph's College (Maine).
