Bio

Tyrell Bucasas ’25 returns to his alma mater as a volunteer assistant coach beginning with the 2026 season after a storybook career in the Crimson and Gold. Bucasas holds the program’s all-time record for assists with 2,160.

His standout senior campaign earned him Regis Outstanding Male Senior Student-Athlete of the Year honors, along with Second-Team All-GNAC and Academic All-GNAC recognition. He was also named GNAC Setter of the Week twice (Feb. 2, Mar. 23).

Bucasas appeared in 99 sets across 29 matches, finishing with a conference-best 835 assists to set the new program record. He ranked second in the GNAC with 8.43 assists per set while also posting career highs in kills (49) and digs (162). He recorded 11 matches with 30 or more assists, highlighted by a program-record 53 assists in the Pride’s quarterfinal victory over Rivier on April 8.
