KRAHL EARNS NECC AND ECAC ROOKIE HONOR
Regis College freshman Brett Krahl (Santa Clarita, Calif.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week and the Corvias Eastern College Athletic Conference North Region Rookie of the Week in Men's Volleyball.
WESTON, Mass. – Regis College freshman Brett Krahl (Santa Clarita, Calif.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week and the Corvias Eastern College Athletic Conference North Region Rookie of the Week in Men's Volleyball.
Krahl helped lead the Pride to a 2-2 mark in this past weekend's Keuka College Tournament. Krahl had seven kills, four digs, and two blocks in a 3-0 win over Bard, before posting seven kills, five digs, and five blocks in a 3-2 setback to SUNY IT. On Sunday, Krahl had 10 kills and six blocks in a 3-0 win over Sage, and wrapped up the week with nine kills, four digs, and six more blocks in a 3-0 setback to Keuka. For the week he had an otustanding hitting percentage of .411 on 33 successful attacks on 56 attempts.
The Pride will return to action this Tuesday, February 10th when the Crimson and Gold open conference play against Endicott with game-time slated for 7:00 p.m.
