With the losses, the Pride men drop to 5-4 and the Pride women fall to 13-4. The men lost by a score of 7-2. Regis played well against a very strong opponent. Regis’ first and third doubles stayed with their opponents for most of their matches, in 8-4 and 8-5 decisions, respectively. Cornell also took the no. 3 doubles with a 8-3 score. The Cornell men dominated singles winning at first, second, third and fifth. At no. 1 and no. 2 singles Regis' Chris Harrow (North Reading, Mass.) and Luke Horton (Bass Harbor, Maine) put up a good fight before succumbing in two sets each. The Pride’s only two points came at fourth and sixth singles. Jarid Polley (North Reading, Mass.) remained undefeated in singles play this week winning 6-0, 6-0 at no. 4 singles making it three wins in a row.
