BELUCH NAMED NECC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

WESTON, Mass. – Regis College sophomore Michael Beluch (Lynn, Mass.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week in men's tennis, it was announced by the conference offices on Monday morning. Beluch helped lead the Pride (2-8, 2-0 NECC) to their first two wins of 2013.

Beluch picked up a 6-0, 6-0 win in No. 1 singles in an 8-1 victory at Newbury and also added a 6-0, 6-1 win at the top singles spot in a 9-0 win over Lesley. In doubles play, Beluch and Jeff Parrish (Framingham, Mass.) posted matching 8-1 wins in their two matches at the top doubles position.

Michael Beluch and the Regis men's tennis team return to action on Monday afternoon as the Pride hosts Becker College in a NECC match at 4:30 p.m.
