PRIDE POUNCE ON WILCATS 9-0,FOR SECOND NECC WIN
Freshman Michael Beluch (Lynn, Mass.) won a combined two matches, while dropping just one game to lead the Regis College (MA) men’s tennis team to a 9-0 victory over host Wheelock College this afternoon in New England Collegiate Conference action at the Winsor Courts in Boston, Massachusetts. The Pride improve to 4-5 and 2-0 in league play, while the Wildcats fall to 0-2, 0-1. It was the first-ever match between the two schools.

Beluch teamed with junior Sophorn Nop (Lowell, Mass) to take an 8-1 decision in pro-set format at number one doubles over the Wheelock tandem of senior Bobby Venning (Greenfield, N.H.) and freshman Charles Armstong-Hicks (Windsor, Conn.). Beluch did not drop a game in a 6-0, 6-0 win at first singles over Venning.
