Men's Swim and Dive Earn Third Overall in GNAC Championships
WORCESTER, Mass. — The Regis men's swim and dive team finished third overall at the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships, scoring 168 points. They trailed the University of Saint Joseph (207.5) and champion Norwich University, which tallied 462.5 points.
Inside the Numbers
- In the 100 freestyle, Aryaman Nagaraj narrowly missed the podium, tying for fourth with a time of 51.12. He later secured a podium finish in the 100 backstroke, touching in a personal-best 59.23.
- Ryan Kim earned a bronze in the 50 breaststroke, posting a time of 28.23.
- Gavin Olsen turned in a strong performance in the 1,650 freestyle, finishing in 19:22.26, a personal best for the rookie.
- On the three-meter diving board, Michael Zammuto took second place with a score of 149.65, followed by Josh Dion in fourth with 124.50.
- The 400 medley relay team of Nagaraj, Olsen, Kim, and Andrew Martin closed out the night with a third-place finish, recording a time of 4:05.96.
- The Pride will graduate seniors Ryan Kim, Aryaman Nagaraj, and Michael Zammuto.
