Regis Men’s Swim & Dive Defeats Elms, 76–22
BOSTON, Mass. — The Regis College men's swim and dive team earned a 76–22 victory over Elms College on Saturday afternoon at Simmons University.
Inside the Numbers
- On the boards, Josh Dion captured first place in the one-meter, 11-dive program with a score of 181.90, narrowly edging Michael Zammuto, who finished just behind at 181.80. On the three-meter board in the six-dive program, Zammuto took the top spot with a score of 180.85, followed by Dion's 173.00. Both three-meter performances marked personal bests.
- In the pool, Ryan Kim posted a season-best time of 54.54 to claim first place in the 100 freestyle. Andrew Martin added a third-place finish in the event, touching in 57.10. Kim also competed in the 50 breaststroke, finishing in 31.97.
- Gavin Olsen turned in strong performances in the distance events, winning both the 200 freestyle (2:03.47) and the 500 freestyle (5:52.47)
