Weston, Mass.—Jeffrie Parrish (Framingham, Mass./Framingham) was announced as an incoming student-athlete by Jonathan Keefe, head coach for the Regis College men’s soccer program Friday.
“Jeff is a physical presence on the field,” said Keefe. Parrish started every game of his senior year for the 16-2-3 Flyers. “He adds that dimension to the game that we haven’t had,” Keefe continued.
Parrish maintained a 3.67 grade point average, and was on the planning committee for Relay for Life. He has also been involved in other community service initiatives for the American Cancer Society, such as Frisbee for Life.
Parrish also volunteers his time to coach youth soccer, and teach religion courses. He will join three other players from the Framingham High team that currently play for Regis College, John Goncalves, Sean Crawford, and Shawn McDonough.
