How It Happened

After Norwich struck first, Regis answered quickly behind Matt Cabassa, who led the early attack with multiple goals, including a strong individual finish and a connection with Nick Klein to keep things even. The Pride continued to respond every time Norwich created separation, with Jack Jaynes and Alex Dougenik adding key goals to maintain momentum. In the second quarter, Regis continued to battle and create chances, highlighted by Nick Klein's goal to cut into the deficit and multiple offensive possessions that produced solid looks on cage. But the Pride would go into half down, 11-5.

Goals from Luke Meelia and Nick Klein sparked a quick run that cut into the Norwich lead, while Cabassa continued to impact the game at the faceoff dot to give Regis more opportunities. In the fourth quarter, Regis maintained its fight and continued to generate opportunities on both ends of the field.
