The Regis College men's lacrosse team has been featured by several local media outlets this past week, including Noontime Sports and the New England Lacrosse Blog.
WESTON, Mass. - The Regis College men's lacrosse team has been featured by several local media outlets this past week, including Noontime Sports and the New England Lacrosse Blog.
On Thursday, Chris Simbliaris of the New England Lacrosse Blog previewed the Pride's 2014 season. Head coach Josh Blumenthal was quoted in the blog, mentioning that "this is the largest roster and most depth in the five-year history of the program, we are looking forward to advancing our program in and around the New England area."
Simbliaris mentioned the play of Nicky Rodrigo (Miami, Fla.), Jack O'Brien (Milton, Mass.), Billy Stewart (West Roxbury, Mass.), and Brian Cidado (Easton, Mass.) in the article and projected that they would be key players for the Pride this year.

Coach Blumenthal was also featured in Matt Noonan's weekly Noontime Sports Podcast on Friday. Blumenthal gave a recap of how the past few week's of preseason have gone for the Pride, while he and Noonan also previewed Regis' upcoming 2014 season, which kicks off on March 6 at Bryn Athyn, and discussed about Div. I, II, and III college lacrosse in general.
