PRIDE SET TO TAKE ON AMCATS
Weston, Mass.—The Regis College men’s lacrosse is set to take on Anna Maria College Saturday (Apr. 16). The Pride enters the contest with an overall record of 3-3. The visiting Amcats enter the contest with an overall record of 4-9 and are 1-7 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference.

The Pride will look to get back on track against the Amcats. The Pride will need to increase its scoring attack to stay on pace with the Amcats who beat Becker College 15-13 earlier this season. The Pride has averaged 8.83 goals per game this season and will need to keep this scoring tempo upbeat to capture a victory.
The Pride’s offense is led by Freshman John Basbas (Framingham, Mass./Framingham). Basbas currently is number one on the team in goals scored with a team high of 13. Bradford Hastings (Mansfield, Mass./Mansfield) has chipped in for a team high in assists with 13. Matt Vogan (Belmont, Mass./Belmont) stepped up in the last game to score his season high three goals on the game. Vogan will look to improve this total against Anna Maria.
The Pride’s defense is led by Andrew Goldberg (Solebury, PA/New Hope) who has a team high in groundballs (31) and forced turnovers (13). The Pride will be led in goal by Tyler Beyor (Carthage, N.Y./Carthage) and Breandan Crane (Billerica, Mass./Arlington Catholic) who have combined to tally 77 saves on the season.
The Amcats are led by Mike Saulnier and Chris Summers who are tied for a team high in goals scored on the season. Saulnier and Summers have tallied 22 goals apiece so far this season. Andrew Ellis is the Amcats main force in goal tallying 134 saves on the season. Rodrigo Henriques leads the Amcat defense with 101 groundballs and 43 caused turnovers.
The game will be played at Regis College and is set for a 12:00 p.m. start.
