PRIDE WELCOME MILTON MUSTANGS & HEATED LIONS TO CAMPUS
The Regis College Men's Basketball program in coordination with Special Olympics Massachusetts hosted the Milton Mustangs and Heated Lions Sunday morning in what was a memorable experience for everybody involved.
WESTON, Mass. - The Regis College Men's Basketball program in coordination with Special Olympics Massachusetts hosted the Milton Mustangs and Heated Lions Sunday morning in what was a memorable experience for everybody involved.
The two teams played against each other in a friendly game of basketball, which was followed by each team playing against the members of the Regis men's program. The players of the Mustangs and Heated Lions were taught new skills and also made new friendships with the members of the Pride team. Everyone involved had a fun filled morning with memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
Special Olympics Massachusetts provides year-round sports training, athletic competition and other health-related programming for athletes with intellectual disabilities throughout the state.
