FIELD HOCKEY SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED AS PRIDE BEGIN TITLE DEFENSE
Head coach Nikki Panciocco is proud to announce the 2015 schedule for the Regis College field hockey team. This year’s schedule will include eight non-conference opponents and 10 home games to be played at Regis Stadium. The program is hoping to return to the New England Collegiate Conference Championship game for the third time since joining the NECC and is looking to capture their second consecutive conference title.

This year's schedule will include eight non-conference opponents and 10 home games to be played at Regis Stadium. The program is hoping to return to the New England Collegiate Conference Championship game for the third time since joining the NECC and is looking to capture their second consecutive conference title.
During the first month of the new campaign, the Crimson and Gold play the majority of their matches on campus as six of the seven September games are home contests.
The Pride begin the season with their home opener on Tuesday, September 1st against Framingham State at 4:00 p.m. Four days later, the Pride head south to Wheaton College for their only road match of the month against the Lyons at noon.
Regis remains at home for the next six games as they look to capitalize with their home field advantage. The squad opens up their conference slate on Saturday September 12th against Bay Path at 1:30 p.m. The team returns to action after a four day layoff to battle Colby-Sawyer on Wednesday, September 16th at 4:00 p.m.
Three days later, the Pride welcomes New England College on Saturday, September 19th at 11:00 a.m. The Crimson and Gold take a week hiatus before returning to the field for PrideFest on Saturday September 26th against Clark University at 11:00 a.m.
The Crimson and Gold wrap up the month of September with their second conference contest of the season at Regis Stadium on Tuesday, the 29th versus Wheelock at 7:00 p.m.
The Pride play seven of their 11 contests in October away from the friendly confines of Regis Stadium. The squad ends their lengthy home stand during the first of the month against Fitchburg State at 4:00 p.m.
Two days later, on Saturday, October 3rd, Regis returns to Elms for a rematch of the 2014 NECC Championship game at noon. After the rematch, the Pride return to Weston for a quick one game duel with Becker on October 6th at 4:00 p.m.
The team heads back out on the road for two games in four days. The first contest, against non-conference foe Mount Ida takes place on Thursday, October 8th at 3:30 p.m. Two days later, on Saturday the team takes off for Chicopee, Mass. again as Bay Path will play their home match against the Pride on the campus of Elms College with game-time slated for 6:00 p.m.
Two of the next three games the Pride play will be home contests. Daniel Webster comes to campus on Wednesday, October 14th at 7:30 p.m., and on Saturday, the Crimson and Gold travel to Wheelock for a game against the Wildcats at 12:30 p.m. Regis ends their home slate of games with Senior Night against Elms on Tuesday, October 20th at 7:30 p.m.
Regis wraps up the season with three consecutive away games. The first is a conference match in Leicester, Mass versus Becker on October 24th at 11:00 a.m. On October 24th, the team travels up to Nashua, N.H. for a non-conference date with Rivier at 7:00 p.m. Three days later, on Halloween the Pride wrap up their season at Daniel Webster.
