Kyle Kurlander, originally from Lake Worth, Fla., came to Regis in 2017 after coaching at the club and high school levels for the past four seasons. Most recently, his U13 club team (JVC Elite) qualified for the Junior Olympics in Minneapolis and finished 18th in the country out of 64 teams.
Before his coaching career started, Kyle was a high school standout, winning Player of the Year honors in Palm Beach County and was named an AAU All-American for his club team, Ocean Bay Volleyball Club. He then accepted a scholarship to Graceland University in Iowa where he was a three-year starter at setter, helping Graceland earn a bid to the NAIA National Tournament in 2012.
Kurlander graduated with a degree in Wellness Program Management and is pursuing his Masters in Healthcare Administration at Regis.
