Kiera Murray begins her second season as Head Coach of the Regis College Men’s and Women’s Cross Country and Track & Field programs in 2026-27 She officially assumed the role on Monday, August 4, 2025.

Prior to Regis
Prior to joining Regis, Murray held several coaching roles at the University of New England (UNE), including Interim Head Coach for Cross Country and Women’s Track & Field and, most recently, Assistant Coach specializing in distance events. She also supported the men’s outdoor track & field season during her time at UNE.

While at UNE, she played a key role in athlete development, meet coordination, recruiting, and integrating sport psychology into daily training. She also launched the university’s first-ever mental performance program, serving as its inaugural Mental Performance Coach. She is currently pursuing certification as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC).

Murray’s coaching career spans high school, youth, and club levels. She previously coached at Cheverus High School and Falmouth High School, and worked with youth runners through Fleet Feet’s community programs. She has also contributed to event management and academic research related to sport performance.

Athletic Career
A former standout student-athlete, Murray earned All-Conference honors as captain of the University of New England cross country team and was a key contributor to four consecutive conference championship teams.
