Jared Arntzen, originally from Blue Ridge, Va., came to Regis in 2017 after a stellar athletic and academic career at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. Playing four seasons and serving as captain for the Tigers, Arntzen capped his career with a selection to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Scholar All-America Team, just the 12th Hampden-Sydney player to do so. He also earned all-conference honors and a selection to the USILA all-star game. Statistically in 2017, he was one of the top faceoff players in the nation as he won 64.9% of his faceoff attempts with 157 ground balls, the second most in school history. His faceoff win percentage ranked 21st in the country and he also ranked ninth in total ground balls. He capped his career with the fifth most career ground balls in school history. Arntzen will be pursuing a Masters in Communication.
