WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) invites everyone to attend the Regis Fest Pep Rally, taking place Thursday, Sept. 27, starting at 7 p.m. at Higgins Court within the Regis Athletic Center.
Among the activities planned for the pep rally is a game of dodgeball as well as other contests put together by members of SAAC, made up of student-athletes from every team assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience.
The pep rally will also feature previews of Saturday's athletic contests to be held as part of Regis Fest, including a women's volleyball tri-match with Simmons and nationally ranked Johnson & Wales, a field hockey contest against Johnson & Wales, the women's tennis match against Albertus Magnus, a contest between Simmons and Regis in women's soccer, the men's tennis showdown between Regis and St. Michael's, and the men's soccer match featuring the Pride against Albertus Magnus.
The highlight of the evening will be the unveiling of Regis's first Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) championship banners celebrating last spring's league titles for both the men's and women's track and field teams.
Admission is free to attend the pep rally, and the event will be streamed live through Regis's Stretch Internet portal (https://portal.stretchinternet.com/regispride/).
